Evening course 3 1/2 hour

You will learn all the basic techniques to make the perfect puff pastry, shortbread and shortcrust.

Element performance criteria:

  • Make a puff pastry dough
  • make a shortcrust dough
  • Make a shortbread dough
  • Roll out and layer the puff pastry with butter
  • roll out the sweet dough and make sweet tart bases
  • Roll out the shortcrust and bake par bake a quiche base
  • Make palmier and puff pastry cases.

Students will take home their products.

Recipe book and apron will be provided at the beginning of the course, for students to keep.

Prerequisites: No prerequisite for this course – open to public and trade.

Course Duration: 3½ hours  6 pm to 9 30 pm
