Evening course 3 1/2 hour
You will learn all the basic techniques to make the perfect puff pastry, shortbread and shortcrust.
Element performance criteria:
- Make a puff pastry dough
- make a shortcrust dough
- Make a shortbread dough
- Roll out and layer the puff pastry with butter
- roll out the sweet dough and make sweet tart bases
- Roll out the shortcrust and bake par bake a quiche base
- Make palmier and puff pastry cases.
Students will take home their products.
Recipe book and apron will be provided at the beginning of the course, for students to keep.
Prerequisites: No prerequisite for this course – open to public and trade.
Course Duration: 3½ hours 6 pm to 9 30 pm
